PVC film
PVC film is mainly divided into three categories - monomer, polymer and cast films. Monomer film is most widely used also for flat surfaces. Polymer film is more flexible than monomer film; it is mainly used for outdoor advertising and high-quality printouts. Cast film is mainly applied for transport vehicle branding as they have a great degree of flexibility and allow for easier application over curvatures. All types of film are offered in diverse colours, including transparent, silver or gold, and they can be with a matte or gloss finish. The underlay is made of a special silicone paper with a coating on one side and a durable adhesive with poly-acrylic dispersion.
Laminating the film is mandatory when the printouts are coloured and planned for outdoor use. The laminate must be the same type as the film which is being laminated - monomer, polymer and cast laminate.
